About Kathryn Wilson-Dick, creator of MOMME

The experience of having my first daughter left my feeling overwhelmed disorganized and post partum. Sarah was colicky and needed to be held constantly. 12 years of just my husband and I, along with a fulfilling career, the impact of having a child was astronomical!

My personality has always been one of a problem solver. My fashion design degree and sewing skills allowed me to take these confusing emotions and create products that would make my days easier. Carrying a baby, purse and a diaper bag left me without my hands and stressed! … There had to be a better way!

Upon discovering the benefits of baby wearing, the ring sling became my favourite because of its versatility. Next was the hands free MOMME tote which combined my purse and diaper bag, acted as an organizer and made a great stroller bag. Since, then several functional coordinating accessories have been added.

I choose my fabrics based on what Moms want. We all have a colour or print that inspires us. It allows us to express our personality and feel individual!

Along with feeling better physically, my products allow you to meet the demands of your little ones, reduce your stress level and make you feel better emotionally.

Manufacturing
My goal at MOMME is not only to create products that make mothering easier but to help moms in as many ways as I can.

When I ran in to the dilemma of not being able to source a manufacturer other than overseas, I went back to my original passion to help moms and thought why not hire mom seamstresses! I believe strongly in not only designing products for moms but providing moms with the opportunity to work from home.

Quality and compassion is of my utmost concern because we as mothers deserve to feel valued!
